It started on a ladder.
One cold winter, while hanging Christmas lights — for the eighth year in a row — our founder realized he'd spent more time on a ladder than inside with his family. Time he could have been at the dinner table, or out on a new family adventure.
The wheels started turning. Permanent roofline lighting was the answer. The problem was that every "permanent" system on the market was either ugly by day, dim by night, or both.
So he sketched something better. A low-profile lens that disappears in daylight. A dedicated warm-white channel that glows like real incandescent. Tighter LED spacing for smooth, even light. Tracks colour-matched to every soffit and trim.
That sketch became the first Lumenox install in 2019. Over a thousand homes later, the principle hasn't changed: your home should be the focus, not the lights.
